Being the first picking they are smaller, but nothing beat them fresh picked.

I can’t stand store bought cucumbers, but garden grown ones I love.

Nice. How well have the long English ones grown for you? I wish I could grow the small pickling ones. Our s tend to get big fast, so they eventually get turned into relish instead.

It still the first picking so the big ones should come soon. Last year they got large by the end of the season.

Two years ago we had some that were quickly approaching football size. Once peeled and cored, they made good relish.
